As it turns out I received the jeep body during April 1982.
The rebuild took a while because I was going to school and could only work on it on the weekends. My wife was still in the AF so we lived in base housing. One day my new jeep body arrived fully crated.
I was away at school so the shipper unloaded it in my driveway. During the week it rained (it does that a lot in Florida despite the sunny rep).My neighbors were deeply concerned that our new baby grand piano was getting ruined. They were surprised when a brand new jeep body popped out of the crate when I got home. Next
