I was talking with Jim Gilmore and the subject of tires came up. He mentioned that TM 31-200 (April 20, 1942) had pictures of a Ford GP having it’s tire removed from the wheel. Jim had said that not only was it a GP but it was a 4-wheel steer! Sure enough that’s what it is. Can you spot the clues?
Well, of course the give away is the hub/hub cap. Which I subsequently enlarged and added to the above photo. You should also be able to notice “Ford” (or at least part of it) as a clue that this is a GP, along with the reflectors and other details.
