Blanket, Engine
This kit consists of a set of fabric covers enclosing the power unit, to retain heat when the vehicle is used in extremely cold climate.
The Blanket Field Kit portion of the Winterization Kit is collectively referred to as part number A-11815. This kit consists of the following parts:

Editor’s Note: When I was in Alaska, I used the Hood and Brush Guard Blankets to protect my engine from the extreme cold during operation. It was very effective. At extreme cold temperatures below -45°F, I would leave the brush guard opening closed (only the light closures would remain open.) Sure made a difference in operating temperature and how well my heater worked.
